Hold Hands 4

The Lost Light was enamored with the small bot. Tenacious and determined to hold hands with everyone, with a "heart of gold", Wall-e tries to befriend everyone. And in turn becomes matchmaker for some members of the crew.

Bots were celebrating. Except for Wall-e, who was trying to avoid getting crushed. Chromedome and Rewind notice the struggle, and Wall-e is quick to notice. A couple in love is the sweetest thing.

Most of the crew had lost interest in the tiny bot from Earth. Half-priced drinks from Swerve were more enticing than a rust covered bot.

Wall-e, gladly avoided the loud part of the crowd. Already his audio sensors were causing him pain from the large input of sound from the music and cheering. So he moved away from the yelling and drunken brawl, towards the exit of the bar.

Rewind watched the small bot carefully, recording the slight twiddling of fingers as Wall-e tried to find a place in the bar. He tapped Chromedome’s arm twice to get his attention. “Domey.”

“Yeah.”

“I’m gonna bring Wall-e up. He’s tiny, and I don’t want him to get stepped on. Especially since drinks are being chugged down so quickly.”

Chromedome turned to watch the bot in question, Wall-e swerved around one bot’s leg, treads squealing. Slowly, the bot was being pushed towards the crowd.

The orange bot stood up. “I’ll get him.”

Chromedome made his way towards Wall-e, dodging a fist from some drunken bot trying to hook him in a head lock. He grabbed for the small bot when he arrived within arms reach, then made his way back to Rewind.

Safe from being stepped on, Wall-e let out a sigh. His grip on Chromedome’s fingers tightened slightly when someone from the crowd wandered out before the two sat down. Chromedome placed Wall-e down on the table.

“Wow,” Rewind’s camera light blinked,”An Earth-made bot, huh? So small.”

Chromedome hummed in agreement and reached for Rewind’s hand. Wall-e’s head quirked up before he raised and joined his hands together and then sighed dreamily.

“It only takes a moment

For your eyes to meet and then

Your heart knows in a moment

You will never be alone again-”

The pair looked down at Wall-e before looking between themselves.

“Yeah,” Rewind pulled Chromedome’s face down and touched foreheads, “It does...”
