Necromancer Brainstorm AU

Brainstorm admired the small blossom he picked out from the field of countless flowers, the blue hue reminiscent of the blue sky when they first arrived on Necroworld. He “borrowed’ some tech from the Necrobot, and had figured out how to make the flower, a piece of cake, as Swerve said once.

Eleven sparks from the fallen Decepticons. One from their own.

Skids.

It was possible to bring back the dead.

He just had to figure out how to do it, pull the specific spark energy of a certain bot, apply the sentico metallico quickly so the spark energy takes and... something else. What was he missing?

Nevermind. Watching Anode bring back Lug had him scrambling to collect data from the security cameras, reading up on spark energies and sentico metallico and trying to replicate Anode's ability in shaping that same metal. He was getting a bit overwhelmed. But he had to do it. For Skids.

For Nautica.

He is going to be careful about this. He's not going to rush this. He's going to collect the data and he's going to this right. He's not going to risk losing Skids' spark energy if something goes wrong..

The first trial was on another flower. A collection of MTO sparks. He identified a specific energy, and extracted it successfully. So far so good.

Applying the sentico metallico, was a different story.

The spark took to it quickly. And he watched in amazement as the small body formed quickly. Wings formed. Legs. Arms. A face.

The first trial was a success. But he still needed to do more. He still needed more trials. More tests.

"Hey buddy. How ya feeling?" The revived MTO could only blink up at him as they slowly gained consciousness. They wiggled their fingers, wiggled their feet, wiggled their wings, becoming familiar with having a body. Being alive.

"What happened?"

Uh oh.

He really didn't think this through did he.

Did he really want to explain to this revived bot that the war was over? Did he even know how to function outside of war?

Did the bot even know how to read?

He had to take notes on their development, had to observe on how they adapted. And what they remembered. Maybe he'll try again. And again.

First Trial: Subject revived. Spark stable. No abnormalities. No deformitites. Subject is lucid, but is confused. Reintroduction into society might be difficult. So far, this experiment was going great.

And now for trial two.

And three.

Four.

And somehow trial five and six.

Brainstorm was getting good at reviving the dead.

But... It wasn't enough.

Not enough for Skids.

Not enough for Nautica.
