Swerve Ficlet

Swerve hums when he's alone at the bar.

Sometimes it's a tune from an Earth show. Sometimes it's a melody from Cybertron. Other times, he makes up his own while he wipes the half processed energon from the tables.

After Swearth, he's almost never left alone. Skids and Nautica, Tailgate and Cyclonus, even Whirl comes by after closing to check up on him.

It comes as a great surprise when Swerve zones out and begins to hum around other bots. So focused on his work, Swerve doesn't notice other bots watching him. When the others get his attention, he gets embarrassed.

"Bad habit sorry," he says as he wrung the cleaning cloth.

The other bots are quick to deflect that comment. "It adds to the ambience." "Keeps me calm." "It's... nice."

Swerve gives them a genuine smile.
