Wings vs. Lab

Brainstorm heard the shattering of a glass beaker. One sudden turn resulted in one of his wings knocking the container to the lab floor. Luckily there was no sample in the beaker.
“Damn.” Brainstorm looked down at the shards. Tentatively he leaned down and began to sweep them up into his palm.
“Brainstorm.” Perceptor had come out of his ‘zone’ observing the crystal formation. “Is everything alright?”
“Yep. Just pushed a beaker of the table. No biggie.”
The scientist got up, but miscalculated how close the desk was relative to his wings. More beakers came crashing down to the lab floor.
Brainstorm let the shards in his hand fall to the ground and he backed away from the desk. Perceptor blinked at the chaos that happened as Brainstorm began to move away from the mess. His wings pushed even more glassware to the floor.
The jet stopped. “Hey, Percy. Can you uh, move those beakers?”
Perceptor chuckled and complied. “Yes. I can. If only to stop you from making even a bigger mess.”
Brainstorm smiled, “Thanks Percy.”
“You’re welcome, Brainstorm.”
